Fish & Fly Magazine and the Flyfishing Retailer Announce Partnership for Industry Trade Show

ORLANDO, Fla., (For Immediate Release) - Fish & Fly magazine and FlyFishing Retailer announced that Fish & Fly magazine is the official media center partner for the trade show in Denver, Colo. Sept. 16 - 18. The partnership will provide exhibitors and fisherman with pre- and post-show videos, as well as editorial coverage in Fish & Fly.

"The FlyFishing Retailer Show provides us with a great opportunity to try the newest equipment before it is introduced to the public, gain some great industry insights and network with retailers and equipment manufactures," said Al Snow, director of marketing for Fish & Fly. Prior to the show, Fish & Fly will produce two five-minute video programs promoting the trade show to exhibitors and retailers. The first program will be a general preview of the show and will be available for viewing beginning July 30. The second program will delve deeper into show announcements and plans and will be available four weeks prior to the show. Both promotional videos will be posted on FishandFlyMagazine.com and FlyFishingRetailer.com.

Fish & Fly's activities during the three-day show will include:

Fish & Fly's video production crew will film interviews, feature stories and product reviews.

Fish & Fly is sponsoring the FlyFishing Retailer Cyber Café, where show attendees will be able to visit Fish & Fly's Web site, as well as access the Internet.

Spey expert and Fish & Fly writer, Dec Hogan will conduct a seminar at the Spey Casting Pond on Monday, Sept. 17.

Copies of Fish & Fly will be available at the entrance to the show, the Cyber Café and Fish & Fly's booth No. 348

Immediately following the trade show a "Show in Review" program will be available on FishandFlyMagazine.com and FlyFishingRetailer.com.


In the Spring of 2008, with the release of Fish & Fly's second annual Tackle & Travel annual, the in-depth coverage from the show floor, including product reviews and interviews, will be available for viewing on FishandFlyMagazine.com. The Tackle & Travel annual will also feature product review articles conducted by Fish & Fly's editorial staff during the trade show.
